It wouldn't shock me if in the long run Inti Creates actually buys back their own distributing license from PQube Limited so they can re-release this game on Steam and have it run like buttered silk. They even added a character from the cheesy Scholastic published Worlds of Power novel. Both the odd Japanese apocalypse storyline and the weird story of a kid who finds a tank to search for his frog are both canon now in one story. Originally posted by Midnight Tea:Yeah, to put it in context - the recently released Inti Creates' version of Blaster Master, "Blaster Master Zero"? It uses the storyline of both the original Metafight on Famicom *AND* the NES version, Blaster Master. In the meantime, I hope PQube breaks their year-long radio silence eventually and fulfills a promise to put out an official fix for this release. It's kinda surreal to see the adorable "elite angel" from a silly ecchi game appearing in a Nintendo game from my early childhood!) (Oh and Ekoro from Gal*Gun Double Peace is playable in pretty much all of their games so far, to the point I suspect she's becoming their mascot. I suspect the person talking to him wasn't born or raised in Japan, but it doesn't matter he was very much part of their development team in Japan. Inti Creates also did an interview with Gaijin Goombah and unlike a lot of similar awkward "American content creator interviews passionate Japanese creator" type shows, they had an actual rapport and it came off as very conversational. Yeah, to put it in context - the recently released Inti Creates' version of Blaster Master, "Blaster Master Zero"? It uses the storyline of both the original Metafight on Famicom *AND* the NES version, Blaster Master. It does not change the fact though that Double Peace was left after the Clothing Update, with no fixes to the issues that persist to this day. So Inti-Creates is the better of the 2 in this. It's just a shame their cheekier/pervier game is being handled by a publisher that isn't properly committing to their duty of care towards the customer. They're one of the most creative, friendly and approachable Japanese developers I'd ever seen. Inti Creates are super cool incidentally. PQube Limited is the one who published this game outside Japan and they're the ones who are going completely radio silent. Originally posted by Midnight Tea:Whoa whoa WHOA. Their hands are tied as far as doing anything about it though, because PQube Limited technically owns the rights to distribute Gal*Gun Double Peace outside of Japan. PQube Limited is the one who published this game outside Japan and they're the ones who are going completely radio silent.Ĭonsidering that Inti Creates didn't approach PQube Limited for publishing their other titles - namely, Gunvolt and Blaster Master Zero - I suspect they've cottoned on as well. Word to the wise never buy a game from Inti-Creates. Luckly fans have managed to fix some issues mainly the chapter 1-2 crash.
